As Sr.
Project Control Engineer responsibilities and duties include:
1. Assists in
preparing cost data for proposals and contract negotiations.
2. Determines scope
definition requirements for a discipline or other specialty, and works with
Engineering and other sources to coordinate the production of required data
to conform to the overall estimate preparation plan.
3. Develops quantity
takeoffs for a discipline or specialty using defined documents or undefined
scope assumptions. Verifies quantities provided by others.
4. Develops and
applies unit rates (cost and job hours) to quantity takeoffs and to otherwise
develop quantities within a discipline or other specialty.
5. Prepares specific
budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
6. Assists in
developing and implementing requirements for cost recording, reporting, and
analyzing standards, programs, and reports. Performs performance monitoring
and control functions for specific applications, including the consistent use
of applicable procedures.
7. Independently
provides financial reporting and trending, with oversight, for the Project
Cost Engineer.
8. Assists in
developing specific project codes of accounts and recommends appropriate
modifications and revisions. This includes training in the proper use
and definitions for the cost accounts.
9. Investigates the
requirements for estimating and/or cost control data for a specific
discipline/other specialty application.
10. Organize the Engineering, Procurement, and
Construction (EPC) department in the planning development of a project;
11. Ensures that the plan development is
executed according to the company’s policies and procedures by setting
control tools and closely monitoring progress; review and approve
subcontractor schedules and for performing project risk assessment.
12. Organize, and supervise schedule resource
loading and leveling; review the project EPC plan with project management
team (PMT) and Company functional management and present to the Client.
13. Approve or decline subcontract plan as part
of overall EPC plan; integrate subcontract schedules in the overall plan and
establish regular progress monitoring and analyze potential risks, project
impacts, or execution improvement; interface with subcontractors in schedule
development and progress monitoring; and provide training, when required.

Primavera.
2. Ascertains that the
correct scope of work is reflected on all schedules.
3. Integrates
interdisciplinary schedule requirements and constraints to establish logical
work sequences for assigned disciplines or specialties. Works with the
performing organizations and units to coordinate work sequences with the
total project plan.
4. Establishes and
implements methods for determining activity durations within assigned
disciplines or specialties.
5. Reviews schedule
data, and identify and acquire the information needed to complete work logics
to interface between assigned disciplines or specialties. Assists in developing

Heat Exchanger and comparing economy and performance wise with existing Shell
